All marble needs cleaning, maintenance and periodic restoration. All maintenance depends on the volume of traffic and use that the stone receives and unexpected stains caused by spills and accidents.
POLISHED​
The reflective or lustrous appearance of polished marble is achieved through the professional application of extremely fine abrasives, effectively eliminating any imperfections that hinder the reflection of light. Notably, polished marble tends to exhibit a slightly deeper hue compared to its honed counterpart of similar composition.

HONED​
Honed marble is a minimally processed stone that provides a matte or satin finish To achieve a more polished look, the surface can be further processed until there is a glossy appearance. The process involves the utilization of diamond abrasive pads and powders with different grits. To add an extra layer of protection, the stone should be sealed using a silicone impregnator.
